My name is Ernesto Hernandez and I am from Chicago, IL. Proud to be Mexican where my parents are from Guanajuato, Mexico. Soy de Estados Unidos, pero si hablo y entiendo el espanol muy bien. I grew up in a not so great suburb of Chicago, but I also got to say it isn't one of the ugliest hoods where I stay at. Growing up I loved to draw. I slowly learned the many different types of art and design forms.
During high school, I was already making plans for what I wanted to major in college; either business or art. I wanted to learn business, but not to work for corporate america and basically that's what college prepares you. I wanted to learn business so I can learn to manage my own business, I want to be my OWN BOSS. So I kind of learned the hard way that I don't need a degree or even go to school to learn to manage and run a business.
Therefore, I went to college and chose art because it has always been something I've been passionate about. I learned many different art forms and mediums. I learned everything from photography, web design, publication, video, packaging design, painting, and much more.
I graduated in June 2011 with a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design. This was one of my greatest accomplishments because I'm the first in my family to make it this far. Anyway when I was nearing the end of my school, I came up with a new goal I want to accomplish. To have my own successful design firm. My interest in business and my passion for art and design! I will do my best to achieve my dreams and goals!
